Host Family Information

For the past 24 years, Mannahouse Christian Academy has been hosting students from countries such as China, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Italy, Vietnam, Korea, Brazil, Spain, Thailand, Mexico, and Peru. Some students visit for a short couple of weeks or a 1, 2, or 3 month visit. Others come for 1 semester of study or longer.

Students are excited to be in families where they can learn English and American culture. One thankful father in Vietnam mentioned that the time their daughter studied at Mannahouse Christian Academy was a time to remember with many beautiful memories in the hearts of their daughter and their family!

As a Mannahouse Academy Host Family you would provide a safe and nurturing environment. Our hope is that you will enjoy the rewards of a greater understanding of world cultures, loving relationships, and sharing your faith with your students. Being in a family is God’s plan for us and we believe students will be blessed and impacted for an eternity to experience daily living with a family who loves Christ and shares a Biblical view of the world.
